She was born on August 22, 1934, in Michigan City, Indiana to the late Joseph and Barbara (Glowinski) Pilarski. On August 30, 1952, in Otis, Indiana, she married John R. Wroblewski, who precedes her in death.

Surviving are 8 children, Patricia Wroblewski, Barbara (Carl) Dahlberg, James (Karen) Wroblewski, David (Trisha) Wroblewski, John Richard (Christine) Wroblewski, Joan (Douglas) Noveroske, Matthew Wroblewski and Walter (Kristin) Wroblewski, all of Michigan City, IN; brothers, Lawrence Pilarski, James Pilarski, and sister Imelda "Chunky" Zarazee; and 11 grandchildren, Jamie (Jeff) Holewinski and Jimmy (Melissa) Wroblewski, Jessica and Katie Dahlberg, John Wroblewski (Natalia Gebka) and Margaret (Nathan) McDaniel, Hunter (Kelsey Travis) and Walker Wroblewski, Hannah Noveroske (John Hofer), Michal (Maddie Forrester) and Eric Wroblewski (Alyssa Olson); as well as 3 great grandchildren, Kaya, James Leo, and Zoe Wroblewski. Also many nieces, nephews. and cousins. She was preceded in death by her infant son, John Joseph; brothers, Jerome, Gerald, and Ronald Pilarski.

With hands that tilled the soil and a heart that nourished her family, she grew to know the value of hard work and carried that strength into every season of her life. A devoted wife, loving mom, granny, great-grandma and friend, she poured her days into both the farm and home. She was the steady foundation of her family, teaching her children not only how to plant a garden, bake bread, or make the world's best spaghetti, but also how to stand tall, face challenges, be kind and be strong...like a bull. Though her days were spent often in work, she found joy in the simple things; the laughter of her family, the beauty of a garden at harvest, but most of all, the comfort of a home cooked meal and the warmth of family gathered around her table. Her legacy will live on in the values she instilled, the memories she created, and the love that continues to grow in the family she built.
