Archon Terrelle "Shawnie" Garner, 29, Michigan City, Indiana, passed away Thursday, July 16, 2020 at 7:55 am in Pendleton, IN.

Private family services will be conducted. Visitation will be from 5:00 pm - 6:00 pm, Thursday, July 23, 2020 the Ott/Haverstock Funeral Chapel, 418 Washington St., Michigan City, IN.

He was born December 6, 1990 in Michigan City, IN.

Surviving are his mother, Tarra Garner-Jones of Michigan City, IN; father, Archie (Inesha) Jones of Michigan City, IN; three sisters, Aliyah Jones of Michigan City, IN, Arianna Harmon of Michigan City, IN, Amaya Harriston-Jones of Michigan City, IN; three brothers, Artrey Jones of Michigan City, IN, Anthony Neal of Michigan City, IN, Arriea Hodges of Michigan City, IN; grandparents, James & Juanita Garner of Michigan City, IN; Maternal Uncles and Aunts: James (Darci) Garner, Jr., Lisa Merriweather, Keenan (Patricia) Garner of Michigan City, IN, Leah (Lawrence) Webster and Misty Garner of Atlanta, Ga. Paternal Uncles and Aunts: Ruben Jones Jr, Sherri Gaston, Tammy Jones, Courtney Jones, of Michigan City, IN and Shekeli Jones of Indianapolis, IN; Two special nieces Jayah"Buggs"Jones and Jordan Thomas Jones. And a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.

He was preceded in death by grandparents, Mary Ann Jones and Johnny Pargo.

Archon loved his family and enjoyed basketball, weight lifting, music and drawing. Archon will be remembered for his beautiful smile, infectious laugh, and comical sense of humor. He touched everyone he met with his kind and generous big heart. Revelation 21: 4 "And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away." We will see Archon again here on "paradise earth."
