Andrew J. Jongkind, 56, Michigan City, Indiana, passed away Monday, August 8, 2022 at 10:19 am in his home.

Services will be announced at a later date. The Ott/Haverstock Funeral Chapel, Michigan City, IN is handling arrangements.    

He was born June 14, 1966 in La Porte, IN.

Surviving are two daughters, Sabrina Jongkind of Portage, IN and Ashley Jongkind of La Porte, IN; his father, Joseph Jongkind of Big Pine Key, FL; sister, Jamie Jongkind of La Porte, IN; four brothers, Jim (Theresa) Jongkind of La Porte, IN, Dan (Lisa) Jongkind of La Porte, IN, Joe (Meghan) Jongkind of La Porte, IN and Jay (Valaina) Jongkind of Hudson Lake, IN; and three  grandchildren.

 He was preceded in death by mother, Mary Judy Jongkind; and step-mother, Julie Jongkind.   

Andrew was a U.S. Navy Veteran.
