Alice H. Spychalski, 99, Trail Creek, Indiana, passed away Monday, July 24, 2023 at 6:24 pm in Trail Creek Place , Michigan City, IN.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am, Saturday, July 29, 2023 at St. Stanislaus Cemetery Chapel, 1015 Greenwood Ave., Michigan City, IN with Rev. William F. O'Toole officiating. Burial will follow in St. Stanislaus Cemetery. The Ott/Haverstock Funeral Chapel, Michigan City, IN is handling arrangements.
She was born November 15, 1923 in Michigan City, IN to the late John and Julia (Forrester) Michaels. On July 31, 1948 in Michigan City, IN she married Paul Spychalski who preceded her on March 18, 2015.
Surviving are four sisters, Dorothy Buchanan, Jane Nall, Ramona Barenie and Amber Vojak; and several nieces, nephews and the Harrison family.
She was also preceded in death by two sisters, Marie Lain and June Raska; and two brothers, John H. Michaels and Emil Michaels.
Alice retired as a clerk at A&P Supermarket. She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, Michigan City, IN and enjoyed gardening and yard work.
