William L. Wilkinson, 67, Michigan City, Indiana, passed away Thursday, August 2, 2018 as a result of a train/vehicle accident.

Private family services will take place. Ott/Haverstock Funeral Chapel, 418 Washington St., Michigan City, Indiana are handling arrangements.

He was born January 21, 1951 in Sheldon, Illinois to the late Marion and Jean (Samuelson) Wilkinson. On April 12, 1996 in Michigan City, Indiana he married Pamela Gorman who survives Michigan City, Indiana along with his mother, Jean Wilkinson, Sheldon, Illinois, two daughters, Myka (Andrew (D.O.)) Berkson of Tyler, Texas, Jamiee (Mark) Przybylinski of Michigan City, Indiana; granddaughter, Kadinson Elizabeth Berkson, nephews, Jeff (Theresa) Strough, Steve (K.C.) Strough, great-nephew, Alex Strough; great-niece, McKenzie Strough; He also has help take care of many of his Grand-dogs; Along with many friends to include his very special-friend, Randy Smith; He was preceded in death by his sister and brother-in-law Carla and Don Strough;

Bill retired after 37 years as a clerk with the South Shore Railroad. He enjoyed traveling, shooting pool with friends, reading and a special love of playing different golf courses with his Monday & Thursday golf group.
