Trent B. Murman, 65, LaPorte, Indiana, passed away Wednesday, August 1, 2018 at 8:34 pm in his home.

Private family services will be conducted. The Ott/Haverstock Funeral Chapel, Michigan City, IN is handling arrangements.

He was born May 29, 1953 in Uniontown, Pennsylvania to the late Stanley and Virginia (Moore) Murman. On September 11, 1976 in Shelburn, IN he married Diana Smith who survives in LaPorte, IN.

Also surviving are a daughter, Jennifer Rolfsrud of Shakopee, MN; son, Christopher Murman of Savannah, GA; grandchild, Kaia Rolfsrud; and his sister, Kimberly Murman of Mesa, AZ.

He was also preceded in death by his son, Joshua Murman.

He had worked as a surgical first physician assistant at St. Anthony Hospital and Memorial Hospital in Michigan City. Trent was a U.S. Navy Veteran and a member of the American Legion. He was and Ordained Minister and enjoyed being with his family.
