Shirley A. "Red" Stribling, 87, Michigan City, Indiana, passed away Monday, May 27, 2019 at 3:41 pm in Franciscan Health - Michigan City.

A celebration of life service will be announced at a later date. The Ott/Haverstock Funeral Chapel, Michigan City, IN is handling arrangements.

She was born June 6, 1931 in Worland, Wyoming to the late James and Violet (Bennett) McKee. On August 26, 1950 in Wyoming she married Kenneth Stribling who preceded her on October 3, 1985.

Surviving are two daughters, Vicki Kuzio of Michigan City, IN, Patty (Daniel) Fries of Michigan City, IN; son, Robert (Larae) Stribling of Plano, TX; five grandchildren, Shane (Nicole) Chappell, Sherawn Chappell, Steve Fries, Jessica Stribling and Emily Stribling; nine great-grandchildren, Alexis, BreAnna, Shane R., Travis, Kyle, Austin, John, Autumn and Serenity; three great-great-grandchildren, Audri, Amiah and Eloise; and several nieces and nephews who live in Wyoming and Colorado.

She was also preceded in death by three sisters, Donna Skinner, Betty Carrillo and Nancy Desersa; and her grandson, Dustin Fries;

Shirley had worked as a loan officer. She was a member of Pines Bible Church and enjoyed spending time with her family, playing piano, thrift shopping and flying with her husband Kenneth out of Joe Phillips airport. Shirley was a devoted and loving mother, grandmother and friend who will be greatly missed.
