Ronald L. Green, 69, Michigan City, Indiana, passed away Wednesday, May 30, 2018 at 10:36 am in Franciscan Health - Crown Point, Crown Point, IN.

Funeral services will be held at 12:00 pm, Monday, June 4, 2018 at Ott/Haverstock Funeral Chapel, 418 Washington St., Michigan City, IN with Pastor Cathy Allison officiating. Burial will follow in Carmel Cemetery, LaPorte, IN with full military services conducted. Visitation will be from 10:00 am - 12:00 pm, Monday at the Ott/Haverstock Funeral Chapel.

He was born February 5, 1949 in Knox, Indiana to the late Grant and Margie (Gaede) Green. On September 18, 1982 in Wascott, WI he married Dawn Tetzloff who survives in Michigan City, IN.

Also surviving are a daughter, Melissa (Farooq) Safdar of Michigan City, IN; son, Douglas Green of Michigan City, IN; sister, Becky (Harold) Welter of Knox, IN; brother, Edwin (Laura) Green of Indianapolis, IN; mother-in-law, Madeline Tetzloff of Michigan City, IN; three brothers-in-law, Rick Tetzloff, Randy Tetzloff and Anthony Tetzloff; and numerous other relatives.

He was also preceded in death by his two sisters, Carol Haugen and Mary Bridenstein.

Ronald had worked as a purchasing agent and was a U.S. Army Veteran of Vietnam. He was a life member of the D.A.V. Chapter 23. Ronald loved his dogs and enjoyed flying, bicycling, fishing, camping and playing guitar.
