May your hearts be comforted by knowing that so many of us thought the world of your son and brother. He was one of a kind and on days when the stress gets to high I will focus on his whistling and kindness as we all knew of him when entering our cafeteria whether for water or food... there will be an emptiness present yet his way of being will live on in these four walls. In fond memory to our dear Paul... God Bless and comfort you.

Paul was ever the spirit of faith, love, and hospitality. He had God's gift of making all feel welcome, that all was possible, that everyone had potential. His whistle would put smiles on the crankiest and saddest faces. Children loved the way he spoke to each one. He made each person he met feel special - because he was so special and so loved. God has called home a very special angel. When we hear the birds sing, we know you are directing and leading with your own song Paul.

I was so very sad to hear of Paul's passing away. Paul was my very first friend on this Earth. We were the same age, lived close to each other, and enjoyed exploring the neighborhood together until I moved away at about age 8. I have often thought back about those days. and only since joining FB and connecting with Mrs. Bazia and Sue was I able to hear how my friend succeeded in life and community. I can imagine that he was one of the most loved people at his work and that he was a breathe of fresh air to whomever he came in contact with. I am grateful to have known him. I wish Paul's family Peace.

May fond memories of Paul bring you comfort during this hard time of losing a loved one. My heart and prayers go out to the entire family. As a kid I always remember Paul being kind to everyone and genuinely happy. Many years later nothing has changed. Everytime I ran into Paul it was always with a smile on his face. God bless!

I worked with Paul at St. Anthony's many years ago. When I saw of his passing, I had to reach out. Paul was memorable, happy and kind. I was a dietitian at SAH and got to know Paul over six years I was there. May he rest in peace and may the perpetual light shine upon him.

I'm so sorry to hear of Paul's passing. He was always such a joy to so many people, and was always one to respond to every posting I'd put on facebook about things the kids were doing. I was thinking that he might be older than David -- not so. He was exactly 3 months younger than David, almost exactly to the day. I wish that I could come down to greet you, but I'm very much homebound. I'm sure that Debbie and David will get down there to see you. Harriet... just know that you raised a son who was a joy to many, many, many people. That can be such a comfort and a blessing to you. Don't stay alone. Go to Sue's, or Kristina's.

I will miss his joyful spirit as will everyone here at the hospital. May his family find comfort in this time of loss...may God bless you all.

Paul was such a sweetheart. Always greeted me with a smile. I'm going to miss going to the cafeteria to tease him about the LaPorte Slicers.I would always tease him about going to jail and I would bail him out during the basketball season. We all loved Paul, but God loved him best. I'm sending my condolences to the entire Bazia family. Take your rest Paul, job well done. The cafeteria will never be the same.
