Patricia "Patti" Stypczynski, 55, Rolling Prairie, Indiana, passed away Friday, September 29, 2017 at 8:17 am in Hospice Franciscan Communities, Michigan City, Indiana.

Private family services will take place. Arrangements are being handled by the Ott/Haverstock Funeral Chapel, 418 Washington St., Michigan City, Indiana.

She was born March 26, 1962 in Springfield, Illinois. On May 14, 1988 in LaPorte, Indiana she married Robert Stypczynski who survives Rolling Prairie, Indiana; Also surviving are Daughter, Melodi (Stephen) Keegan of Kingsford Heights, Indiana; Son, Cord Stypczynski of Rolling Prairie, Indiana; Granddaughter, Ashli Keegan and Grandson, Andrew Keegan; Sister, Toni Bolsega of Rolling Prairie, Indiana; Brother, Vincent (Brenda) Bolsega, Jr. of Fish Lake, Indiana; Sister-in-law, Patricia E. Stypczynski and Brother-in-law, Eugene Stypczynski both of South Bend, Indiana;

She was preceded in death by her parents Vincent & Leona (Kolasa) Bolsega, Sr.

Patti received her Master's Degree in music from Indiana University South Bend. She was a private music instructor specializing in Woodwind instruments. She was instrumental in establishing music programs for many grade school programs. She participated with the LaPorte City Band, Michigan City Band, LaPorte Symphony, Twin Cities Band, South Bend, Indiana. She also formerly played the organ at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, LaPorte, Indiana and LeMans Academy, Rolling Prairie, Indiana. Patti also was very artistic enjoying canvas painting, drawing and ceramic sculptures. Preceding her in death was her parents, Vincent and Leona (Kolasa) Bolsega, Sr..
