Patricia M. Bessegato, 91, Michigan City, Indiana, passed away Tuesday, August 28, 2018 at 5:50 pm in Aperion Care, The Arbors, Michigan City, Indiana.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am, Friday, August 31, 2018 at Ott/Haverstock Funeral Chapel, 418 Washington St., Michigan City, Indiana with her brother, Pastor Richard Strahm officiating. Burial will follow in Hanna Cemetery, Hanna, Indiana. Visitation hours will be Friday from 9:30 am -11:00 am at the Ott/Haverstock Funeral Chapel.

She was born November 23, 1926 in Van Wert, Ohio to the late Orlo and Florence (Miller) Strahm. On June 2, 1967 in La Porte, Indiana she married Joseph Bessegato, who preceded her in death. Surviving are daughter, Carol (John) Teshima of Michigan City, Indiana; son, Steven (Connie) Thate of La Porte, Indiana; two step-Daughters, Joanie (Carl) Williams of California, Sylvia Bessegato of La Porte, Indiana; three step-sons, Tony (Dolores) Bessegato of Columbus, Ohio, Patrick (Kim) Bessegato and Jim (Lynn) Bessegato both of La Porte, Indiana along with 10 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren; brother, Pastor Richard Strahm of Valparaiso, Indiana;

She retired after many years with Sears Roebuck & Co. She was a member of Hanna Methodist Church, Hanna, Indiana and the Union Mills chapter of the Order of Eastern Star.
