Mary Lou Parker, 94, Maumee, Ohio, formerly of Michigan City, IN, passed away Tuesday, June 18, 2019 in Elizabeth Scott Community, Maumee, OH.

Committal services will be held at 1:00 pm, Friday, July 5, 2019 at Greenwood Cemetery Chapel, Michigan City, IN. Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery. The Ott/Haverstock Funeral Chapel, Michigan City, IN is handling arrangements.

She was born March 12, 1925 in Eau Claire, Wisconsin to the late Alex C. and Eva (Ingram) Dahlby. On November 22, 1947 she married Bud M.A. Parker who preceded her on June 15, 2011.

Surviving are daughter, Nancy "Jo" (Dr. James) McCormick of Michigan City, IN; son, Michael (Tracy) Parker of Toledo, OH; five grandchildren, Jodi Butcher, Sara Parker, Dr. Jayme (Kellen) Norris, Melissa (Scott) Mrozinski and Michael (Amy) McCormick; five great-grandchildren, Kaeli Mrozinski, Lily Mrozinski, Sophie Butcher, Alex Butcher and Lydia Norris; and two sisters, Charlotte Bingham of Woodstock, IL and Mildred (Larry) Halverson of Menominee, WI.

She was also preceded in death by her sister, Isabel Barter.

Mary Lou was a graduate of the University of Wisconsin School of Nursing. She worked as a registered nurse in Michigan City for 40 years, many of those years as a surgical nurse. She was a member of First Congregational Church. She dearly loved her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
