Marjorie Emerich, 85, Michigan City, Indiana, passed away on Sunday, March 31, 2019 at Trail Creek Place Assisted Living, Michigan City, Indiana.

Marjorie was born November 25, 1933 to Otto and Bessie Schultz, who preceded her in death. On February 20, 1954, in Michigan City, Indiana, she married the late James A. Emerich. Marjorie was a homemaker and lifelong resident of Michigan City.

Marjorie is survived by her daughter Gail Emerich of Indianapolis, Indiana, and son James W. Emerich (Lorna) of Spokane, Washington. She is also survived by two sisters, Verna Schultz Blake and Audrey Schultz Schwermer, and brother Dale Schultz. She was preceded in death by two sisters, Betty Schultz Bruehler and Carol Schultz Ludington, and four brothers, John Schultz, Glenn Schultz, Donald Schultz, and Louis Schultz.

Cremation will take place and there will be a private family burial at Greenwood Cemetery, Michigan City, Indiana. Arrangements are being handled by Ott/Haverstock Funeral Chapel, 418 Washington St., Michigan City, Indiana.
