Marian K. Walker, 74, Michigan City, Indiana, passed away Wednesday, January 17, 2018 at 12:05 am in Franciscan Health - Michigan City.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm, Monday, January 22, 2018 at Ott/Haverstock Funeral Chapel, 418 Washington St., Michigan City, IN with Chaplain Lauren Mache officiating. Burial will follow in Pine Lake Cemetery, LaPorte, IN. Visitation will be from 12:00 pm -1:00 pm, Monday at the Ott/Haverstock Funeral Chapel.
She was born February 20, 1943 to the late Charles and Vera Krout.
Surviving are two daughters, Lynette (Andy Vigil) Walker of Michigan City, IN and Kathy Crum of Michigan City, IN; five Grandchildren, Leanne (Randy) Jacobs, Kalli (Bruce) Crum, Melissa (Nate) McCoy, Stefany Walker and Brian Peterek; eight great-grandchildren, Kade, Austin, Zander, Archer, Danny, Kenneth, Destiny and Jayden; and her companion, Thomas Putorek of Michigan City, IN.
She was also preceded in death by her daughter, Marilyn Peterek; son, James Walker, Jr.; and brother, Charles Krout.
Marian was a self-employed house cleaner who enjoyed fishing, camping, gardening, puzzles and crossword puzzles.
