Maria I. Falatovics, 38, Michigan City, Indiana, passed away Friday, March 22, 2019 at 2:00 pm in her home.

Funeral services will be held at 3:30 pm, Sunday, June 2, 2019 at River of Life Church, 516 Decatur Street, Michigan City, IN with Chaplain Alan Harvey officiating. The Ott/Haverstock Funeral Chapel, is handling arrangements.

She was born April 1, 1980 in Michigan City, Indiana to Imre and Sharon (Heiner) Falatovics.

Surviving are her companion, Mark Schimnoski of Michigan City, IN; mother, Sharon Falatovics of Michigan City, IN; two sisters, Margit Mehne of Fleming Island, FL and Eva Falatovics of Chicago, IL; five brothers, Michael Falatovics of Oak Park, IL, Imre Falatovics of Michigan City, IN, Adam (Jody) Falatovics of LaPorte, IN, Jakob Falatovics of Michigan City, IN and Tomas Falatovics of Michigan City, IN; two nieces, Ani and Jenna; and four nephews, Aria, Dara, Sam and Emre, Jr.

She was preceded in death by her father, Imre Falatovics.

Maria was a route carrier for the United States Postal Service. She enjoyed bicycle riding, yoga, health food and living the holistic lifestyle.
