Lillian Bartnicki, 99, Michigan City, Indiana, passed away Friday, June 8, 2018 at 1:00 am in her home.

Mass of Christian burial will be held Tuesday at 11:00 am at Queen of All Saints Catholic Church, 606 S. Woodland Ave., Michigan City, Indiana with Rev. Kevin Huber officiating. Burial will follow in St. Stanislaus Cemetery, Michigan City, Indiana. Visitation hours will be Tuesday from 10:00 am till 11:00 am at the Queen of all Saints Catholic Church Legacy Center. Arrangements are being handled by the Ott/Haverstock Funeral Chapel, 418 Washington St., Michigan City, Indiana.

She was born November 4, 1918 in Gary, Indiana to the late Jozef and Anna (Kucerova) Ladra, Sr. On May 30, 1940 in Michigan City, Indiana she married Walter N. Bartnicki, who preceded her in death on October 18, 2000. Surviving is a daughter, Patricia Bartnicki of Michigan City, Indiana who provided her with full time care for many years and a son Ronald (Judith) Bartnicki of Griffith, Indiana; two grandchildren, Daniel (Anna) Bartnicki and Karyn (Phil) Gross along with four great-grandchildren, Aidan and Leah Bartnicki along with Kevin and Addison Gross; She was preceded in death by son, Bruce Bartnicki; three Sisters, Barbara, Mary and Annie; two brothers, Joseph and William.

Lillian was employed at many local retail stores over the years to include Hoosier Clothing and Al's Thrifty Mart. She enjoyed cooking, baking and sewing and was a member of Queen of all Saints Catholic Church along with being active in the Queen of all Saints Rosary Sodality.
