Brother Leon I really enjoyed every time we got together. We had many laughs over they years. May God Bless you my Brother I will really miss your smiling face and love of life. I am sure you are up in Heaven throwing the baseball around and getting up to the plate with some of your old buddies. You crossed the sands of the desert for the last time. Love you Brother!

Jeannie and family, so sorry to hear of Leons passing. The laughter he will make in heaven! We always think of Leon landing in the middle of a fallen tree by our farm mailbox. He was in a hurry to get to work at night because of the storm. God bless 57 yrs of wedding bliss!

While in MC in July, Ron inquired about Leon!
No news!
Total surprise when we heard from Ron's daughter, Kelly Palmer!
She knew her Dad would want to know about Leon!
I just recall "happy memories at Skwiat Post! Yes "many moons ago"
My Catholic GirlFriends and I Totally Loved watching Leon and Jeanette Polka!
Oh how we envied them on the dance floor!

We are so sorry to hear of Leon's passing. What a fine man he was. Will always remember his contagious humor and warm smile. Wish more people could have had his personality. Also will remember the times spent with him on the old farm. He will be missed. What a shame it would be if this was all there was to life. I am truly sorry for your loss, please accept my sincere condolences. I hope the family will find some comfort and strength in Jesus promise of the earthly resurrection (Acts 24:15, John 5:28, 29) and the renewed Paradise earth, where death is an enemy (1 Corinthians 15:26) that will very soon be eleminated forever, and no family will mourn the death of a loved one (Revelation 21:3,4). This promise has been given by Almighty God Jehovah (Psalms 83:18). Truly, what a glorious and almost unbelievable day that will be! It's a reality though for God cannot lie (Titus 1:2). So sorry to hear of Leon's passing. It sure was a shocker. Will always remember the good times we had together at St. Joe or where ever we would meet up. My dad and him had the same birthday and would always celebrate together when they would happen to be at St. Joe at the same time. May he rest in peace.
