In March of 2014, a butterfly landed in the deli department of our Al's Supermarket on Franklin Street. It was our "Little Kathy" and she had arrived to light up the world around her. All of her coworkers were drawn to her positive energy and contagious smile. A bond of friendship was formed in a few weeks that would be the equal of life long friends. Dixie was there for Kathy when she needed her and Kathy was there for Dixie.
Kathy lived her way to the end. Those that were blessed to be with her in the final days, were given a gift of love that should be cherished an shared as she would want. Farewell sweet Butterfly.
