Kathleen E. Fields, 73, Michigan City, Indiana, passed away Wednesday, April 10, 2019 at 4:05 pm in her home.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 am, Tuesday, April 16, 2019 at St. Stanislaus Catholic Church, 1506 Washington Street, Michigan City, IN with Rev. Walter Ciesla officiating. Burial will follow in St. Stanislaus Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4:00 pm - 8:00 pm, Monday and from 8:30 am - 9:30 am Tuesday at the Ott/Haverstock Funeral Chapel, 418 Washington St., Michigan City, IN. The Rosary will be recited at 7:00 pm Monday in the funeral chapel.

She was born February 11, 1946 in Michigan City, Indiana to the late Norman H. and Frances J. (Milcarek) Zeese. On February 15, 1964 she married Walter Fields who survives in Michigan City, IN.

Also surviving are two daughters, Patricia Fredenburg and Sherri Fields, both of Michigan City, IN; three sons, Paul (Theresa) Fields of Michigan City, IN, Steven Fields of LaPorte, IN and Terry (Juliet) Fields of LaPorte, IN; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; three sisters, Mary (Gerald) Gondeck Maillett of Indianapolis, IN, Karen (Vance) Self of Royce City, TX, and Monica Nowatzke of LaPorte, IN; three brothers, Charles (Elaine) Zeese of Michigan City, IN, Michael (Pat) Zeese of Michigan City, IN and Robert (Michele) Zeese of Chesterton, IN; and sister-in-law, Lisa Ameling Zeese of Lafayette, IN.

She was also preceded in death by two sisters, Jerilyn and Patricia Zeese; two brothers, Ronald and David Zeese; two brothers-in-law, Joseph Gondeck and Richard Nowatzke.

Kathleen was a member of St. Stanislaus Catholic Church. She enjoyed crocheting, jig saw puzzles and baking pies.
