John S. Bronner, Sr., 82, Michigan City, Indiana, passed away Friday, December 22, 2017 at 1:57 pm in his home.
Private family services were conducted. The Ott/Haverstock Funeral Chapel, Michigan City, IN is handling arrangements.
He was born October 27, 1935 in Steubenville, Ohio to the late Burton and Florence (Sanford) Bronner, Sr. On August 31, 1963 in Steubenville, OH he married Cheryl Wilson who survives in Michigan City, IN.
Also surviving are a daughter, Kimberly (James) Taliaferro of Pensacola, FL; two sons, John (Carrie) Bronner, Jr. of Michigan City, IN and Michael (Jessica) Bronner of Rolling Prairie, IN; twelve grandchildren, London Taliaferro, Cole Taliaferro, Johnny Bronner, Stefen Glade, Heather Fennell, Riley Bronner, Chloe Bronner, Delanie Bronner, Ellianna Bronner, Isabella Bronner, Elena Miller and Alejandro Miller; brother, Burton Bronner, Jr. of Suffolk, VA; brother-in-law, Ralph Wilson of Steubenville, OH; and extended family members, Jose and Gloria Miller of Michigan City, IN.
He was also preceded in death by two sisters; Beverly Campbell and Nancy Jackman.
John retired as a supervisor at Midwest Steel and was a U.S. Army Veteran. He loved being with his grandchildren.
