James P. Younger, Sr., 76, Michigan City, Indiana, passed away Thursday, June 20, 2019 at 7:10 pm in his home.

Private family services will be conducted. The Ott/Haverstock Funeral Chapel, Michigan City, IN handled arrangements.

He was born January 13, 1943 in Chicago, Illinois to the late John D. and Ann (Drolenga) Younger, Sr. On June 28, 1965 in Geneva, IL he married Karen Mosel who survives in Michigan City, IN.

Also surviving are a daughter, Julie Ann (Michael) McMann of Frankfort, IL; son, James P. Younger, Jr. of Gardner, IL; five grandchildren, Zachary, Quinn, Caden, Weston and Cameron; great-grandchild, Derek; and his brother, John D. Younger, Jr. of Florida.

James retired as a welder at International Harvester. He enjoyed animals, nature, woodworking, constructing miniature architectural buildings and taking care of his pets.
