Henrietta L. Kriesel, 103, Michigan City, Indiana, passed away Tuesday, October 9, 2018 at 11:32 am in her home.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am, Tuesday, October 16, 2018 at St. John's United Church of Christ, 101 St. John Road, Michigan City, Indiana with Pastor William Fine officiating. Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4:00 pm - 8:00 pm, Monday at the Ott/Haverstock Funeral Chapel, 418 Washington St., Michigan City, IN and from 10:00 am - 11:00 am Tuesday at St. John's United Church of Christ. The Women of the Moose #935 will conduct a memorial service at 5:30 pm Monday in the funeral chapel.

She was born May 17, 1915 in Michigan City, Indiana to the late Nicholas and Lillian (Loetz) Dabkowski. On October 28, 1939 in Michigan City, IN she married Harry Kriesel who preceded her on January 4, 1989.

Surviving are three Sisters, Margaret Caddo, Margene Bates and Virginia Irk, all of Michigan City, IN; brother, Joseph (Arlene) Dabkowski of Michigan City, IN; and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

She was also preceded in death by five sisters, Edith Barnes, Bernice Beres, Lucille Gill, Dorothy Foldenauer and Gladys Radke; and her brother Nicholas Dabkowski.

She was a member of St. John's United Church of Christ, Afternoon Women's Guild, Women of the Moose #935 and the Michigan City Senior Center.
