Helen Lansberg, 85, Michigan City, Indiana, passed away Tuesday, August 8, 2017 at 9:30 pm in Franciscan Community Hospice , Michigan City, Indiana.
Mass of Christian burial will be held at 11:00 am, Saturday, August 12, 2017 at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Buffalo & 10th Streets, Michigan City, Indiana with Rev. Kevin Huber officiating. Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery, Michigan City, Indiana. Visitation will be from 10:00 am -11:00 am, Saturday at St. Mary's Catholic Church. Arrangements are being handled by the Ott/Haverstock Funeral Chapel, 418 Washington St., Michigan City, Indiana.
She was born June 25, 1932 in Michigan City, Indiana to the late Alexander M. and Anna (Teets) Pizarek. On February 17, 1962 in Michigan City, Indiana she married Dale Lansberg who preceded May 29, 1991. Surviving are Two Sisters, Claire Ziomek and Ruth Knoll both of Michigan City, Indiana; Brother, Andrew Pizarek of San Jose, California; Several Nieces, Nephews, Great-Nieces, Great-Nephews and Great-Great Nieces and Great-Great Nephews. She was preceded in death by Son, Timothy Lansberg; Two Sisters, Ann Bue, Genevieve "Genny" Pizarek; Two Brothers, William Pizarek, Alexander J. Pizarek; Brother-in-law, John Ziomek; Great-nephew, Adam Paul Schroeder;
Helen was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, Michigan City, Indiana. She retired as a Machine Operator at Arno Tape, Michigan City, Indiana. She will be missed by her special "Buddy" Wes her Great-Great Nephew.
