Sharon, Greg was a special person. I remember reading to him and he was quite sure of what he wanted to listen to, even video's. IT was a pleasure to read to him. I'm sure he will be missed by all.

My deepest, heartfelt sympathies to the Hagenow's and Malecki Families. My heart is breaking in a million different pieces. Little flashes like puzzle pieces; the sweetest boy with the beautiful smile that was my RE student for several years. The boy who loved cows and answered every question "cow" or "cows". I never felt worthy enough to be Greg's teacher but boy he taught me a lot. Far more than I ever taught him. I loved being around Greg and he made me a better teacher and a better person. Sharon, I was honored and forever humbled to be a part of Greg's religious training. I loved Greg and thank you for sharing him with me, I will forever keep him in my heart.

My heart goes out to all of you. I will never forget Greg. He was a truly awesome young man with the goofiest personality. He always made me smile. He loved his family, friends, and his cows. (and Hope!) He loved movies, music, and animals. He was strong-willed, funny, and so good with kids!

I worked with him as an special ed assistant and he changed my life. Since I got to see first-hand how Greg impacted children in the classroom and the community, he inspired me to go for my masters in Special Ed. I'll never forget the look on the Kindergarteners' faces when he comes to read a book and spend time with them. I'll never forget doing animal sign language with him and talking about his favorite movies like Jungle Book, Lion King, & Harry Potter (and there's a ton more movies he loved)

I have countless memories of him and he is definitely someone I will never forget. Rest easy Greg ❤️
