Gloria Green, 88, Michigan City, Indiana, passed away Saturday, July 15, 2017 at 6:09 am in Franciscan Health - Michigan City, Michigan City, Indiana.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am, Friday, July 21, 2017 at Ott/Haverstock Funeral Chapel, 418 Washington St., Michigan City, Indiana. Burial will follow in St. Stanislaus Cemetery, Michigan City, Indiana. Visitation will be from 10:00 am Friday till the time of service at the Ott/Haverstock Funeral Chapel.
She was born January 11, 1929 in Michigan City, Indiana to the late Frank and Gertrude (Buzalski) Chebowski. On April 26, 1952 in Michigan City, Indiana she married Wilbert "Red" Green who preceded her in death on February 21, 2006. Surviving are Two Daughters, Kathryn (Michael) Pasky of Michigan City, Indiana and Deborah (Ernest) Wiggins of Warsaw, Indiana; Four Grandchildren, Jonathan (Marissa) Pasky of Indian Head Park, Illinois, Christopher (Sarah) Wiggins of Warsaw, Indiana, Stephanie (Jacob) Haney of Zionsville, Indiana and Elizabeth (Derek) Domenico of Denver, Colorado; Four Great-Grandchildren, Nash, Stella and Crew Wiggins and Lillian Haney; She was preceded in death by Son, Gilbert Green; Three Sisters, Jean Rebich, Mildred Riddle and Lucille Hale;
Gloria had worked for many years as a Clerk in La Porte County Treasurers Office. She was a member of the Senior Center of Washington Park
