Eugene W. Levendowski, 70, Michigan City, Indiana, passed away Thursday, June 28, 2018 in his home.

Mass of Christian burial will be held at 10:00 am, Tuesday, July 3, 2018 at Queen of All Saints Catholic Church, 606 S. Woodland Ave., Michigan City, Indiana with Rev. Ian Williams officiating. Burial will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery, Otis, Indiana. Visitation hours will be from 4:00 pm -8:00 pm, Monday and from 8:30 am until time service Tuesday at the Ott/Haverstock Funeral Chapel, 418 Washington St., Michigan City, Indiana. A Rosary will be recited Monday evening at 6:00 pm in the Ott/Haverstock Funeral Chapel. Full military services will be conducted Tuesday in St. Mary's Cemetery, Otis, Indiana.

He was born April 8, 1948 in Michigan City, Indiana to the late Eugene C. and Marie (Graff) Levendowski. On February 26, 1972 in Michigan City, Indiana he married Mary Logan who preceded him in death on December 10, 2017. Surviving are three sons, John (Beth) Levendowski of La Porte, Indiana, David (Tammy) Levendowski and Richard (Megan) Levendowski both of Westville, Indiana; five grandchildren, Thomas, Alyssa, Nicholas, Kristen and Vivian Levendowski;

Eugene was a member of Queen of All Saints Catholic Church in Michigan City, Indiana.  He was a US Army veteran of the Vietnam War.  He retired from IBEW Local 531 after 40 years as an electrician and talented welder.  Also, he assisted his father with the family farm and carpentry business.  He enjoyed bowling and computer games.  Most of all he enjoyed spending time with his family.
