Edward J. Fleming, Jr., 88, Needham, Massachusetts, passed away Tuesday, November 13, 2018 at 6:10 pm in Porter Regional Hospital, Valparaiso, IN.

Private family services were conducted. Burial took place in St. Mary's Cemetery, Otis, IN. The Ott/Haverstock Funeral Chapel, Michigan City, IN handled arrangements.

He was born June 13, 1930 in Chicago, Illinois to the late Edward J and Mildred (Furth) Fleming, Sr. On January 31, 1953 in Chicago, Illinois he married Mary Quinn Fleming who preceded him on November 3, 2005.

Surviving are Daughter, Ann (Patrick) Sweeney of Valparaiso, IN; and two grandchildren, Carlos and Leo Sweeney.

He was a U.S. Marine Corps Veteran of the Korean War and a member of the Marine Corps League. Edward was an entrepreneur who enjoyed working.
