Edmund M. Zemrowski, 92, Michigan City, Indiana, passed away Saturday, January 6, 2018 at 5:15 am in Rittenhouse Senior Living of Michigan City.
Private family services were conducted. Entombment took place in St. Stanislaus Cemetery Mausoleum. The Ott/Haverstock Funeral Chapel, Michigan City, IN handled arrangements.
He was born January 10, 1925 in Michigan City, Indiana to the late Edmund A. and Blanche (Pilarski) Zemrowski. On October 20, 1945 in Michigan City, IN he married Doris M. Ritter who preceded him on December 5, 2011.
Surviving are a daughter, Judith Ann (Edward) Kuc of Long Beach, IN; son, James Edward (Pamela) Zemrowski of Michigan City, IN; three grandchildren, Mark (Angela) Zemrowski of Michigan City, IN, David (Kelly) Kuc of Carmel, IN and Amy (Todd) Attar of Michigan City, IN; seven great-grandchildren, Katlyn, Austin, Luke, Sydney, Alec, Grace and Mia; and two sisters, Angeline Zdyb of Trail Creek, IN and Patricia Gondeck of Michigan City, IN.
He was also preceded in death by two sisters, Eleanor Barko and Delores Antoszewski.
Edmund retired after 40 years as a sales engineer at Milton Roy/Hayes Division and was a U.S. Army Veteran of World War II having received a bronze star and a purple heart. He was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, American Legion Skwiat Post 451, DAV Chapter 23, Elk's Lodge 432, and the Moose Family Center 980.
