Dawn L. Schuman, 57, Michigan City, Indiana, passed away Tuesday, May 28, 2019 at 2:40 pm in Golden Living Center/Fountainview Terrace, LaPorte, IN.

A memorial service will be held at 3:00 pm Wednesday, June 5, 2019 at Ott/Haverstock Funeral Chapel, 418 Washington St., Michigan City, IN with Pastor Matthew Schuman Officiating. Visitation will be from 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm Wednesday at the Ott/Haverstock Funeral Chapel.

She was born October 4, 1961 in Michigan City, Indiana to Kenneth and Nellie (Magro) Schuman.

Surviving are her mother, Nellie Schuman of Michigan City, IN; three Sisters, Mary Jane (Kenneth) Hedrick, Carol (Darrell) Cleek and Jude (Larry) New, all of Michigan City, IN; special nephew who was like a brother, Kenneth Schuman, II of Kingsford Heights, IN; and several nieces and nephews, several great-nieces, great-nephews and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her Father, Kenneth Schuman.

Dawn enjoyed dancing, coloring, listening to music and loved Tony Orlando and Wayne Newton. She was a proud and loving aunt.
