Caleb M. Heflin, 26, Michigan City, Indiana, passed away Saturday, December 8, 2018 at 9:58 pm in Michigan City, IN.

A celebration of life gathering will be from 3:00 pm - 7:00 pm, Friday, December 14, 2018 at Red Mill County Park, 0185 S. Holmesville Rd., LaPorte, IN. The Ott/Haverstock Funeral Chapel, Michigan City, IN is handling arrangements.

He was born August 2, 1992 in Kailua, Hawaii to Bobby and Jacquelyn (Carter) Heflin.

Surviving are three sons, Chance, Preston and Colton Heflin; his mother, Jacquelyn Carter of Michigan City, IN; two brothers, Justin (Mallori) Heflin and Ryan (Cassondra) Heflin, both of Michigan City, IN; two sisters, Maria (Christopher) Southwell and Gina Major, both of Michigan City, IN; his girl-friend, Shana Martinez of Michigan City, IN; and several nephews, cousins and one niece.

He was preceded in death by his father, Bobby Heflin.

Caleb enjoyed fishing, kayaking, hanging with his friends and really loved playing with his kids.
