Bunny Hallin, 56, LaPorte, Indiana, passed away Wednesday, December 6, 2017.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 pm, Tuesday, December 12, 2017 at Ott/Haverstock Funeral Chapel, 418 Washington St., Michigan City, IN with Pastor Kim Cole officiating. Visitation will be from 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm, Tuesday at the Ott/Haverstock Funeral Chapel.

She was born April 2, 1961 in Michigan City, Indiana to Charles and Sarah (Pullin) Strickland. On June 25, 1983 in Michigan City, IN she married Bertrand Hallin, III who survives in LaPorte, IN.

Also surviving are three daughters, Marastella (Chris) James, Sonya (Lawrence, II) Bilek and Bailey Hallin, all of Michigan City, IN; six grandchildren, Max, Ryne, Doug, AnnaJo, Kody and Lawrence III; her mother, Sarah Henry of Memphis, TN; sister, Paula (Ken) Atkinson of Hartford, CT; brother, Douglas (Mona) Strickland of Houston, TX; and her sister-in-law, Maryann Strickland of Pangburn, AK.

She was preceded in death by her father, Charles Strickland; brother, David Strickland; and step-father, John Henry.

She worked in customer service at Whirlpool Corp. Bunny enjoyed music, playing cards, baking and junk'n. She loved spoiling her grandchildren and spending holidays with her family
