Betty J. Wolsiefer, 92, Michigan City, Indiana, passed away Tuesday, June 25, 2019 at 6:45 pm in Aperion Care Arbors at Michigan City.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 am, Monday, July 1, 2019 at Queen of All Saints Catholic Church, 606 S. Woodland Ave., Michigan City, IN with Rev. Jordan Fetcko officiating. Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery. Visitation will be from 1:00 pm -4:00 pm, Sunday at the Ott/Haverstock Funeral Chapel, 418 Washington St., Michigan City, IN and from 9:30 am - 10:00 am Monday at the Queen of All Saints Legacy Center.

She was born October 5, 1926 in Michigan City, Indiana to the late Kenneth and Elsie (Handtke) Buell. On February 23, 1946 in Michigan City, IN she married John M. Wolsiefer, Sr. who preceded her on June 12, 1994.

Surviving are two sons, Richard (Mary Ann) Wolsiefer of Michigan City, Indiana and John M. (Jeanne) Wolsiefer, Jr. of LaPorte, IN; three grandchildren, Michelle Wolsiefer, David Wolsiefer and Michael (Amber) Wolsiefer; and five great-grandchildren, Owen, Maya, Kyan, Ezra and Nora; and her dog Peaches.

She was also preceded in death by her sister, Gerry Morse; and two brothers, Richard Buell, Sr. and Donald Buell.

Betty worked in customer service for 23 years at Sears. She was a member of Queen of All Saints Catholic Church and enjoyed reading, gardening, baking and crossword puzzles.
