Bernice Ester Wright, 53, Michigan City, Indiana, passed away Thursday, January 3, 2019 at 3:00 am in her home.

Private family services will be conducted. The Ott/Haverstock Funeral Chapel, Michigan City, IN is handling arrangements.

She was born December 7, 1965 in Michigan City, Indiana to William and Julia (Qualls) Johnson. On August 28, 1982 in Michigan City, IN she married Daryl Wright who survives in Michigan City, IN.

Also surviving are two daughters, Shannan Wright of Winchester, IN and Erin (Andy) Barden of Trail Creek, IN; three sons, William (Cita) Johnson, IV of Bremerton, WA, Nicholas Wright of Michigan City, IN and Damein Wright of Michigan City, IN; eleven grandchildren; her mother, Julia Johnson of Michigan City, IN; sister, Julie Carter of Michigan City, IN; and brother, Robert (Donna) Johnson of Belfair, WA.

She was also preceded in death by her father, William Johnson; and brother, William Johnson, III.

Bernice had worked at Blue Chip Casino. She enjoyed Disney, geocaching and spending time with her grandchildren.
