Anna M. Lenart, 97, Westville, Indiana, passed away Saturday, September 2, 2017 at 1:20 pm in Golden Living Center - LaPorte.

Mass of Christian will be held at 10:00 am, Thursday, September 7, 2017 at St. Stanislaus Catholic Church, 1506 Washington Street, Michigan City, IN with Rev. Walter Ciesla officiating. Burial will take place in Holy Cross Cemetery, Calumet City, IL. Visitation will be from 4:00 pm - 8:00 pm Wednesday and from 8:30 am - 9:30 am Thursday at the Ott/Haverstock Funeral Chapel, 418 Washington St., Michigan City, IN.

She was born July 24, 1920 in Chicago, Illinois to the late Boniface and Frances (Blanchura) Herud. On April 27, 1946 in Chicago, IL she married Chester Lenart who preceded her on September 10, 1980.

Surviving are a daughter, Irene (Harry) Workman of Westville, Indiana; son, Patrick (Vicki) Lenart of Palatine, IL; four Grandchildren, Sean Lenart, Sara Lenart, Jason Workman and Jacob Workman; and four great-grandchildren, Ian Webb, Hailey Webb, Joseph Webb and Lexi Lenart.

She was also preceded in death by 2 sisters and 3 brothers.

Anna was a member of St. Stanislaus Catholic Church. She enjoyed sewing, crocheting, word finds and being with her family.
