Karen Thompson, 61, Michigan City, Indiana, passed away Wednesday, March 14, 2018 at 5:45 pm in her home.

Private family services will be conducted. Burial will take place in Greenwood Cemetery. Visitation will be from 12:00 pm - 2:00 pm, Monday, March 19, 2018 at the Ott/Haverstock Funeral Chapel, 418 Washington St., Michigan City, IN.

She was born December 25, 1956 in Michigan City, Indiana to the late Herman and Estella (Bradley) Thompson.

Surviving are three daughters, Denise (Dan) Mason of Michigan City, IN, Billie Jo Baske of Michigan City, IN and Jennifer (Ken) Collette of LaPorte, IN; Son, Bradley Baske of Michigan City, IN; three grandchildren, Cassie Mason, Dylan Gleason and Makayla Gleason; and her sister, Brenda (Alfred) Larson of Apollo Beach, FL.

She was also preceded in death by two sisters, Betty Singletary and Sharon Thompson.

Karen had worked at Sprague Devices and she enjoyed gardening
