Debra R. Kalil-Nadaf, 63, Michigan City, Indiana, passed away Sunday, January 7, 2018 at 12:33 pm in Franciscan Health - Crown Point, Crown Point, IN.
Private family services were conducted. Burial took place in Westville Cemetery, Westville, IN. The Ott/Haverstock Funeral Chapel, Michigan City, IN is handling arrangements.
She was born April 15, 1954 in Michigan City, Indiana to the late Albert and Loieta "Pat" (Maynard) Kalil. On July 18, 1980 in Michigan City, IN she married Khalil "Chuck" Nadaf who survives in Michigan City, IN.
Also surviving are a daughter, Cassie (Eric) Bechinske of Westville, IN; two brothers, Jeffrey (Cyndy) Kalil and Tony Kalil, both of Michigan City, and several nieces and nephews.
She had worked for 15 years as a slot machine representative at Blue Chip Casino and was a member of Queen of All Saints Catholic Church and the John Franklin Miller American Legion Post 37 Women's Auxiliary. Debra enjoyed bowling and playing darts and watching sports. She was a loving wife, mother and friend. Her laugh and ability to tell stories and jokes and make everyone around her laugh will be missed.
