Joyce Ann Robb, 72, Michigan City, Indiana, passed away on Wednesday, March 27, 2024 at 10:30 a.m. in her home.

A private celebration of her life will be held. The Ott/Haverstock Funeral Chapel, 418 Washington Street, Michigan City, Indiana is handling arrangements.    

Joyce was born on December 17, 1951, in Michigan City, Indiana, to the late Oscar and Arietta (Schoonover) Durham. On November 28, 1970, in Michigan City, Indiana, she married Duane Robb, who survives.

Also surviving are one daughter, Sharon Robb-Chakerian of Clinton, Indiana; one son, Steven (Sarah) Robb of Sullivan, Indiana; four grandchildren, Nolan Chakerian, Nathan Robb, Alanis Chakerian, and Jakob Robb; sister-in-law, Debbie Lucero; brothers-in-law, Danial and David Robb; and several nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; one sister, Janice (James) Egan; and three brothers, William (Mary "Bootsie") Durham, Dick (Janet) Durham, and Danial (Beverly) Durham.  

Joyce was a special education job coach over the years working in Michigan City and Terre Haute. She was a former member of the Red Hatters Club, and involved in Footlight Players, Inc. Joyce admired coffee, reading, rides to the beach, trips for ice cream, and enjoyed cooking. She loved all family and will be missed tremendously.
