Adelle Elizabeth Niles
August 29, 1931 - April 24, 2024 

Adelle "Del" Elizabeth (Zeza) Niles, 92, passed away peacefully in Fort Wayne, Indiana on Wednesday, April 24, 2024 at 4:44 am with family at her side.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am, Tuesday, April 30, 2024 at Ott/Haverstock Funeral Chapel, 418 Washington St., Michigan City, IN with  Rev. David Kime officiating. Private burial will take place in Greenwood Cemetery, Michigan City, IN.  Visitation will be from 9:00 am - 11:00 am, Tuesday at the funeral chapel.    

She was born August 29, 1931 in Chicopee, Massachusetts to the late Stanley and Mary (Duross) Zeza. Adelle was married to Elvin "Lucky" Niles on February 19, 1955 in Holyoke, Massachusetts. 

She will be missed by her two daughters, Deborah (Donald) Rogers of Trail Creek, Indiana and  Marlene (Kenneth) Wenclaff of Fort Wayne, Indiana. Grandchildren, Stephen Rogers, Jeffrey (Ashley) Rogers, Nicholas Wenclaff, Cory (Jamie) Wenclaff and five great-grandchildren.

She was also preceded in death by husband, "Lucky"; her grandson Stephen, and one sister, Carolynn M. Bartlett of South Hadley, Massachusetts.   

Adelle was a homemaker but worked briefly at Catholic Charities in Holyoke, Massachusetts and was the former co-owner of A & L Furniture in Michigan City, Indiana. She liked to travel and visited 49 states, camping, boating, fishing, going for rides to the beach, and playing bingo. Adelle was a long time parishioner of Queen of All Saints Catholic Church in Michigan City, Indiana and the Moose Family Center #980, Trail Creek, Indiana.
