Elizabeth Konkey, 99, passed away peacefully Saturday, May 4, 2019.

Mass of Christian burial will be held Thursday May 9, 2019 at 10:00 am at Queen of All Saints Catholic Church, 606 S. Woodland Ave., Michigan City, Indiana with Rev. Kevin Huber officiating. Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery, Michigan City, Indiana. Visitation will be Wednesday from 4:00 pm -8:00 pm and Thursday from 8:30 am until 9:30 am in the Ott/Haverstock Funeral Chapel, 418 Washington St., Michigan City, Indiana. A Wake service will be conducted Wednesday at 4:00 pm in the Ott/Haverstock Funeral Chapel.

She was born April 6, 1920 in La Porte, Indiana to the late John J. and Apolonia (Pizarek) Mark. On November 15, 1947 in Michigan City, Indiana she married Elmer G. Konkey, Sr. who preceded her in death on July 18, 1994. Surviving are daughter, Janice Shepperson and a son, Elmer J. (Victoria) Konkey, Jr. both of Michigan City, Indiana; grandson, Brian Shepperson of Michigan City, Indiana; Special niece, Lorraine Dreske; She was preceded in death by her son-in-law, Harold Shepperson; four sisters, Susan Wroblewski, Dorothy Mark, Sister Joan Marie and Laura Ransom; four brothers, Otto, Richard, Norbert and Andrew James Mark.

She was a member of Queen of all Saints Catholic Church, Queen of all Saints Church Rosary Sodality. She enjoyed gardening, tending to her flower beds, sewing and a "hugger" to all her friends and family. Being one of the oldest members of Queen of all Saints Catholic Church she assisted with the ribbon cutting ceremony for the new Legacy Center.
