Joseph M. Bartus, 76, Long Beach, Indiana, passed away Thursday, May 2, 2019 at 9:59 pm in Franciscan Health - Michigan City, Michigan City, IN.

Private services and burial will take place in Grandview Cemetery, Monessen, PA. The Ott/Haverstock Funeral Chapel, Michigan City, IN is handling arrangements.

He was born February 27, 1943 in Charleroi, Pennsylvania to the late Joseph T. and Ella (Ninchak) Bartus.

He was also preceded in death by his sister, Patricia Strawbridge.

He retired after 38 years as a millwright at Midwest Steel. Joseph enjoyed hunting and target shooting. He was a licensed pilot and an avid Chicago Cubs fan.
