Vera B. Kniola, 91, Michigan City, Indiana, passed away Saturday, April 7, 2018 at 12:40 pm in Aperion Care Arbors at Michigan City.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 am, Thursday, April 12, 2018 at St. Stanislaus Catholic Church, 1506 Washington Street, Michigan City, IN with Rev. Walter Ciesla officiating. Burial will follow in St. Stanislaus Cemetery. Visitation will be from 8:45 am - 9:30 am, Thursday at the Ott/Haverstock Funeral Chapel.

She was born March 26, 1927 in Michigan City, Indiana to the late Andrew and Marguerite (Solner) Otto. On September 1, 1961 in Michigan City, IN she married Robert P Kniola who preceded her on April 2, 2006.

Surviving are numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

She was also preceded in death by her sister, Irene Ransom; and two brothers, Richard and Melvin Otto.

Vera was a member of St. Stanislaus Catholic Church and enjoyed sewing, crocheting and shopping.
