Terry......I will always remember you as a kind,gentle, man who led me on my pathway into growing into a man. From being our class sponsor, sports mentor, and educator,...you led many of us into 'growing up' and becoming responsible citizens and adults. I will always remember your laugh and smile, God is with you.......

Had Mr. Murphy on my mind this week and prayed again for him. Did not know of his passing until late today. As you know, Mrs. Murphy, he was our class' favorite teacher. My sympathy to all of you. Know that he is at peace.

I worked with Terry for a number of years at Portage High School. I found him to be funny, kind, and caring. He was a great part of the professional staff.

Dear Judy and family,
Today's TIMES carried the news of Terry's passing into eternity. 'Tis a release from earthly cares for him and for you all. Thank God for his life among us.
Though we were next door neighbors on RockCastle Pk. Drive for only 8 years, we shall not forget Terry's good humor and Irish friendliness. (He did not deny throwing overalls in Mrs. Murphy's chowder, when I hinted he did so!) Last Patrick's Day I again remembered Terry and you, and the friendly neighbors you were. My condolences to Kevin - Maureen - Nora - Dan - Brian and all your family.
I'm sure your personal care through the failing years were of great comfort to him. May you find joy in remembering Terry and the growing-up family you raised so well. Neighbor Mel
