I was very sad to hear the news about Matt. I knew him in about '83-'84. He was full of life, had a great personality and always had a smile on his face. He was a really nice and wonderful person!

I am so sorry to hear about the passing of my great and magnificent friend. Matt's enormous personality and generous spirit were a tremendous source of confidence, intelligence, lust for life and humor in my own life and cherish the thousands of great memories he has given me. My older brother Matt and I speak of Werds often to this day and he is a hero of hilariously giant legend that will live on forever and and beyond. My deepest sympathies to his kind mother and brother Dave, as well as his cousins and extended family. Rest in Peace, Werds.
