Raymona E. Wiencek, 74, Michigan City, Indiana, passed away Monday, September 26, 2016 at 5:40 am IU Health, LaPorte, LaPorte, Indiana.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am, Saturday, October 1, 2016 at Ott/Haverstock Funeral Chapel, 418 Washington St., Michigan City, Indiana with Rev. Kevin Huber officiating. Private family burial will take place at a later date. Visitation will be Saturday from 9:00 am till the time of service in the Ott/Haverstock Funeral Chapel.

She was born July 17, 1942 in Michigan City, Indiana to the Raymond and Helen (Schomake) Drake. In Michigan City, Indiana. On November 17, 1984 she married Robert L. Wiencek, who survives Michigan City, Indiana. Also surviving is a Daughter, Hope Dusza of Trail Creek, Indiana, Three Sons, John Shurley, Ron Shurley of Laporte, Indiana and Ryan Wiencek of Michigan City, Indiana; Grandson, Zeth Shurley; Brother, Randall Drake; Sister, Alice Woolslayer of California; Sister-in-law, Annie MacDonald of Kentucky; Several Nieces and Nephews also survive. She was preceded in death by Brother, Leon Drake;

Mrs. Wiencek was a member of Queen of all Saints Catholic Church, Women of the Moose #935. She also volunteered for many years at St. Mary's School serving many capacities. She also enjoyed spending her free time shopping and socializing at different stores.
