Patrick H. Mokrycki, 81, New Carlisle, Indiana, formerly of Michigan City, Indiana passed away Thursday, January 21, 2016 at 4:05 am at Franciscan Hospice Communities, Michigan City, Indiana.

Mass of Christian burial will be held at 10:00 am, Monday, January 25, 2016 at St. Stanislaus Catholic Church, 1506 Washington Street, Michigan City, IN with Rev. Walter Ciesla officiating. Cremation will follow services and private burial will take place in Greenwood Cemetery, Michigan City, Indiana with full military services conducted by the American Legion Skwiat Post 451 and the VFW Post 2536. Visitation hours will be from 2:00 pm -6:00 pm, Sunday and Monday from 8:30 am till 9:30 am in the Ott/Haverstock Funeral Chapel, 418 Washington St., Michigan City, Indiana. The St. Joseph Young Men's Society will recited the Rosary at 4:00 pm and the Military Memorial Service will be at 4:15 pm both Sunday in the Ott/Haverstock Funeral Chapel.

He was born July 21, 1934 in Michigan City, Indiana to the late Charles and Melvina (Stulzki) Mokrycki, Sr. On November 24, 1956 he married Myrna Murphy, who preceded him in death on December 16, 1987. On September 30, 1989 in Michigan City, Indiana he married Ruth Holmes, who survives New Carlisle, Indiana; Also surviving are Three Daughters, Kim (Kelly) Emerick and Dawn Hurt both of Michigan City, Indiana and Jamie (Scott) Seifert of New Carlisle, Indiana; Two Sons, Jason (Beth) Mokrycki and Eric Mokrycki both of Michigan City, Indiana; 12 Grandchildren Amanda, Alex and Michael Sunderland, Kellsie, Kaitlin and Madison Emerick, Roxie, Kiana and Kyle Hurt, Haley, Renee, and Tanner Seifert and soon to be Great-Grandson and many Nieces and Nephews; Two Sisters, Helen Earley of Michigan City, Indiana and Sophie Weaver of Maumee, Ohio; He was preceded in death by Son, Michael Mokrycki; Great-Grandaughter, Amira Hurt-Turner; Seven Brothers, Edwin, Julius, Charles, Jr., Marion, Alexander,Walter and John Mokrycki;

Patrick retired from Criterion Catalyst Co. as a Maintenance Supervisor. He was a veteran of the US Army, member of St. Stanislaus Catholic Church, Moose Family Center 980, St. Joseph Young Men's Society, and the American Legion Skwiat Post 451.
