Patricia Lee McAnally, 91, Michigan City, Indiana, passed away Wednesday, July 29, 2015 at 2:31 pm in Franciscan St. Anthony Health - Michigan City, IN.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am, Tuesday, August 4, 2015 at Ott/Haverstock Funeral Chapel, 418 Washington St., Michigan City, IN with Rev. Dr. Ericka Parkinson Kilbourne officiating. Private family burial will take place in Greenwood Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4:00 pm -7:00 pm, Monday, August 3, 2015 and from 10:00 am until time of service Tuesday, August 4, 2015 at the Ott/Haverstock Funeral Chapel.

She was born August 2, 1923 in Hartford City, IN to the late Philip L. and Mary Frances (Smoot) Gable. On August 5, 1945 in Hartford City, IN she married Earl W. McAnally who preceded January 7, 2008.

Surviving are Son, Michael (Jean ) McAnally of O'Fallon, IL; Two Daughters, Michele Bartels of Michigan City, IN, Peggy McAnally of Michigan City, IN; Grandson, Ian (Linda) McAnally of St. Louis, MO; Three Granddaughters, Sharon (Clint) Ressler of San Antonio, TX, Kelly (Rob) Kern of Shiloh, IL, Stephanie (Richard) Kretschmer of San Ramon, CA; Ten Great-Grandchildren, Alexandria, Eric, Emily, Chase, Hailee, Kallee, Owen, Grant, Blaine, Scarlett; Nephew, Ron Hon of Fairland, IN; She was preceded in death by both her parents, husband, Step-Father, Robert Quillen; Brother, Philip N. Gable.

She retired after 25 years as a Michigan City Elementary School teacher. She obtained her bachelor degree in Education in 1945 from the University of Kentucky. She was a member of the Women of the Moose Lodge 935, La Porte County Retired Teachers Association, Tuesday morning coffee Klatch, World War II Glider Pilots Association associate member, and a past member of the National Education Association. Patricia enjoyed reading, crossword puzzles, collecting miniature clocks, shopping, and spending time with her family and friends. "The good news is, mom is with Mac, the love of her life. The sad news is we are going to miss her dearly"
