Norma J. Silko, 87, Michigan City, Indiana, passed away Wednesday, June 28, 2017 at 3:30 pm in Hospice Franciscan Communities.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am, Saturday, July 1, 2017 at Ott/Haverstock Funeral Chapel, 418 Washington St., Michigan City, IN. Visitation will be from 9:00 am -11:00 am, Saturday at the Ott/Haverstock Funeral Chapel.
She was born December 8, 1929 in Fremont, Michigan to the late Norman and Ethel (Dobe) Lattin. On October 7, 1950 in Brunswick, MI she married Vincent Silko who preceded her on November 24, 2003.
Surviving are a daughter, Pamela LaBerge of New Buffalo, MI; three sons, Vincent (Cheryl) Silko of Cape Coral, FL, Jeff (Roxanna) Silko of Clayton, IN and Todd (Kathy) Silko of Michigan City, IN; six grandchildren, Summer, Jeremy, Joshua, Sarah, David and Valerie; 4 great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Joyce (Rich) Nesbitt of Mount Pleasant, MI and Dee Dorman of Muskegon, MI.
Norma had worked as an administrative assistant at Sullair Corp. She enjoyed knitting, ironing and being with her family.
