She was also a beekeeper, harvesting her own honey and selling it at festivals to many local celebrities in California. She was a loving and generous mother, sister, aunt, wife, and friend.

She is survived by her son, Paul Rudnick, and daughter, Beth Rudnick, both of Michigan City; her sister, Jane (the late Peter) Stachowski of Michigan City; nieces Kathleen Stachowski (Chris Barns) of Mancos, CO, and Laura Stachowski (Matt Baktys) of Bloomington, IN; her beloved cat Emma; many grandcats; and her loving friends in both Indiana and California.

Private family committal services will take place at Greenwood Cemetery. A memorial luncheon for friends and family will be announced at a later date in Michigan City. The Ott/Haverstock Funeral Chapel, Michigan City, IN is entrusted with arrangements.
