Mildred A. "Millie" Wozniak, 93, Michigan City, Indiana, passed away Tuesday, July 26, 2016 at 8:38 am.

Mass of Christian burial will be held at 1:00 pm, Friday, July 29, 2016 at St. Stanislaus Catholic Church, 1506 Washington Street, Michigan City, Indiana with Rev. Walter Ciesla officiating. Burial will follow in St. Stanislaus Cemetery, Michigan City, Indiana. Visitation hours will be from 4:00 pm -8:00 pm Thursday and from 11:30 am - 12:30 pm Friday in the Ott/Haverstock Funeral Chapel, 418 Washington St., Michigan City, Indiana. The St. Stanislaus Rosary Society will recite the Rosary at 4:00 pm Thursday in the Ott/Haverstock Funeral Chapel.

She was born September 10, 1922 in Michigan City, Indiana to the late Herman and Gertrude (Kohler) Peters. On August 22, 1942 in Michigan City, Indiana she married Alphonse "Al" Wozniak, who preceded her in death on September 21, 1993. Surviving are Three Sons, Clifford (Charlotte) Wozniak, Michael (Carol) Wozniak and Steven (Deborah) Wozniak all of La Porte, Indiana; Two Daughters, Trudy (Gary) Frye and Nancy (Allen) Reed both of Michigan City, Indiana; 15 Grandchildren, 17 Great-Grandchildren and 5 Great-Great-Grandchildren; She was preceded in death by her Sisters, Evelyn Bartnick and Betty Foldenauer;

Mrs. Wozniak was a member of St. Stanislaus Catholic Church, St. Stanislaus Rosary Society, Young at Hearts. She was a regular at St. Stan's Tuesday Night Bingo and attended the Michigan City Senior Center where she enjoyed playing cards.
