Michael L. Wildhart, 69, Michigan City, Indiana, passed away Sunday, April 1, 2018 at 8:39 pm in Franciscan Health - Michigan City.

Private family services will be conducted. The Ott/Haverstock Funeral Chapel, Michigan City, IN is handling arrangements.

He was born February 10, 1949 in Michigan City, Indiana to Joseph and Lois (Hoffman) Wildhart.

Surviving are his mother, Lois Wildhart of Michigan City, IN; three brothers, Dennis (Sheila) Wildhart of LaPorte, IN, Randal (Bozena) Wildhart of LaPorte, IN and James (Sharon) Wildhart of Lakeland, FL; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father, Joseph Wildhart.

Michael retired after 30 years as a lineman at the South Shore Railroad and was a U.S. Navy Veteran of Vietnam. He was a member of V.F.W. 2536, D.A.V. Chapter #23 and the American Legion Skwiat Post 451. He enjoyed fishing and hunting.
